Hi I’m Alanna! I help teens and young adults eliminate self-doubt and learn real-world positive coping strategies so they can manage their anxiety and develop skills to transition to young adulthood.  

I do my best work with anxious, depressed teens and young adults who are struggling with self-doubt and managing life’s day-to-day stressors.  I help teens learn positive coping strategies and how to manage their feelings-not just avoid them. 

My  Approach

 I enjoy helping teens and young adults successfully develop tools to transition into adulthood, learn to manage intense and overwhelming emotions, and develop skills to cope with anxiety, depression, and substance use. I am a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA), with significant experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy. I believe that skill development and learning the power of our minds is a vital part of our healing process.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and utilize this approach to help teens stop intrusive thoughts and reframe negative thinking allowing them to build self-esteem, motivation and confidence! I enjoy incorporating meditation and movement mindfulness into my sessions for mind-body connection.
