Yoga is shown to have many therapeutic benefits. As a certified Children’s Yoga Instructor ages 8-18 I use yoga to compliment my practice.
Yoga is combined with therapeutic techniques to help children and teens create an overall sense of well-being, learn to relax, slow the breath, and be in the present moment. Yoga can be provided as part of treatment during individual sessions to enhance and reinforce skills.
